McCormack was born into a family that had no connection to entertainment at all to her family tree, is the daughter of a clinical therapy and the owner of an Ice Cream Shop. In the wake of separation from her parents, McCormack went to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following graduating from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA, she graduated. When she was 12 She began her acting career in one of the productions of the Christmas opera "Amahl and The Night Visitors". The actress continued her performances at the theater as well as landing roles that were on small screens as well as the big screen. McCormack has been regarded as one of the most flexible Hollywood actors. Michael Morris is her husband and she has three daughters.
